الكلمة قد تكون " إكسير االحياة " لإنسان تملكته مشاعر اليأس والإحباط ، وقد تكون السم الزعاف لإنسان آخر ، وهى قد تبث الحياة والأمل وتحفز الهمم فى أمة بأسرها ، وقد تتسبب أيضا فى نشوب حرب أهلية، وأظن أن المسيح عليه السلام هو الذى قال أن الإنسان لا يحاسب على ما يدخل فمه وإنما يحاسب على ما يخرج من فمه ، وان رسول الله محمد صلي الله عليه وسلم قال لمعاز ابن جبل عندما ساله وهل يحاسب الناس علي ما يخرج من افواههم يا رسول الله فرد عليه رسولنا الكريم في حزم ثكلتك امك يا معاز وهل يكب الناس في النار علي وجوههم الا حصاد السنتهم**.

وقديما قال احد الفلاسفة أن الباحث عن الحقيقة كمن يبحث عن قطة سوداء فى غرفة مظلمة ، وأنا دائما أبحث عن الحقيقة أو عن قدر يسير منها ، وأجد متعة فى البحث عنها .أحترم كل من يبحث عن الحقيقة وأشك فى كل من يدعى أنه وجدها، لأن الحقيقة وكما قال الفيلسوف العربى الكبير أبو حيان التوحيدى أكبر من أن يستوعبها فرد واحد.

لى الكثير من الهوايات لكن ليس من بينها الكتابة أو الصحافة ، فتلك رسالة وأمانة ومسئولية. ... لا أحبذ أسلوب النصح والإرشاد فى الكتابة ، وإنما أفضل أن أقدم معلومة جديدة وأعرض للصورة من كل جوانبها وأترك للقارئ أن يختار ويحكم بنفسه احتراما لعقله وفكره ، وهذا يتأتى بالقراءة ، والقراءة المتعددة المصادر ، والإلتقاء بالمصادر كلما أمكن ، وبالتفكير وإمعان النظر وحتى يتسنى لك أن تكون رأيا سليما مستقلا عن علم ودراية ومعرفة .

والمعرفة عند الفيلسوف الكبير أفلاطون هى رأى حقيقى، والكاتب الأمريكى جيمى هيندركس هو الذى قال : " إن المعرفة تتكلم أما الحكمة فتصغى "

وعندنا المثل العربى الشائع: " إذا كان الكلام من فضة فإن السكوت من ذهب ".

وعن القراءة يقول الأديب العملاق الأستاذ عباس محمود العقاد:

وقد سأل أحد أبناء الفيلسوف الأمريكي وليم جيمس أباه قائلاً :
