"وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَانَ جُنُودُهُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنسِ وَالطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ . حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَى وَادِي النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لا يَشْعُرُونَ . فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ على وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ" (سورة النمل :1719).

الإعجاز العلمي :
أولاً: ذكر القرآن كلمة نملة بلفظ المؤنث : " قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ ":
فقد ثبت علمياً أن النملة الأنثى العقيمة هي التي تقوم بأعباء المملكة من جمع الطعام ورعاية الصغار والدفاع عن المملكة وتخرج من الخلية للعمل، أما النمل المذكر فلا يظهر إلا في فترة التلقيح، ولا دور له إلا في تلقيح الملكات .
